Press Conferences and Press Room Photos
The press corps at 2005 Fall Meeting was well over 100 strong, in addition to a contingent of public information officers from universities, government agencies, and research institutions. Reporters had a score of press conferences to choose from, as well as a field trip geared to the upcoming centennial of the San Francisco earthquake. The annual session describing Congressional and Mass Media Fellowships sponsored by AGU through AAAS attracted many potential future applicants. All photos are copyright AGU. Photographers were Harvey Leifert and Jonathan Lifland.
