H.R.2342: National Integrated Coastal and Ocean Observation Act of 2007
To direct the President to establish a National Integrated Coastal and Ocean Observation System, and for other purposes.
Directs the President to establish a National Integrated Coastal and Ocean Observation System to: (1) measure, track, explain, and predict events related to climate change, natural climate variability, and interactions between the oceanic and atmospheric environments, including the Great Lakes; (2) promote basic and applied research; and (3) institutionalize coordinated public outreach, education, and training.
