H.R.5789: Science and Technology Innovation Act of 2008

To reauthorize the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program, and for other purposes.

Allocates an additional $650 million of Research and Development (R&D) funds from 11 major governmental agencies (including DOE, NSF, and NASA) to R&D conducted by small businesses.
