There are many ways for scientists and engineers to apply their training to initiatives at the national and international level and contribute to the policymaking process. Drawing on the expertise of Science & Technology Policy Fellowship participants, this session will delve into opportunities to contribute scientific and technological leadership toward the design and execution of solutions to societal challenges. This panel discussion will assist attendees in identifying transferable skills that can be developed and applied to a successful career in science policy and public engagement. Attendees will leave the session with strategies and resources for learning and engaging in policy across all career stages.
