Daniel Izuikedinachi Okoh
Research Scientist, National Space Research and Development Agency
Dr. Daniel Okoh is a Research Scientist at NASRDA. He has a First Class BSc in Physics & Astronomy - UNN, a Distinction MSc in Space Physics - RU, and a Distinction PhD in Astrophysics - UNN.
Dr. Okoh’s research interests are in applications of AI & ML for Space Weather modelling. He is the principal developer of the AfriTEC model.
He is a member of the WMO Expert Team on Space Weather, and a SCOSTEP Science Discipline Representative. He presently works as postdoc on the INGV NORISK project.
