Whether you are participating in San Francisco or Online Everywhere this year, there is content available for you to view at any time, along with hybrid sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, as well as the ever-popular exhibit hall. 

Join when you are able to and still not miss out on a presentation or discussion. Find the sessions that interest you to learn, collaborate, and be inspired. After you customize you schedule for AGU23, you can share the sessions you are looking forward to on social media!

Looking to join a LIVE session? You can livestream the following types of sessions throughout the week and also leading up to AGU23.

Recordings will also be available within 72 hours for on-demand viewing of all the above sessions, except the online poster discussion sessions. Select content, including online poster discussion sessions will be live streamed in late January 2024 and recorded for on-demand viewing.

AGU23 will also offer dedicated daily times for in-person poster engagement. In-person poster and eLightning sessions are not being recorded but you can view select posters by accessing the online Poster Gallery in December through March 2024.

Know Before You Go

We welcome you to AGU23, taking place 11-15 December 2023 in San Francisco. To help you prepare, we have put together the below reference guide. For more details, visit the AGU23 website and mobile app, where you will find the event schedule, speakers, safety procedures and accessibility policies.

Before the Meeting

Build Your Schedule

View the latest program agenda of keynotes, innovations, Union sessions, named lectures and oral and poster sessions to build your personal schedule. If you have started a schedule in Confex, it will sync with the AGU Events mobile app. (Make sure to use the same email address you used for registration.)

Time Zone

San Francisco is currently on Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is 3 hours behind Eastern Standard Time (New York). All AGU23 events will be hosted in PST.

  • Make sure your device is running iOS Version 15+ or Android Version 9+. Note that some Android devices with limited memory are not supported (e.g. Moto G4 & Moto G5. 
  • Log in with the same email address and password you used to register for AGU23. 

Using a Computer? Set up a Bookmark

Bookmark the AGU23 website and click on the link to enter the online meeting platform. 

  • Use Chrome or Safari for the best viewing experience. 
  • Turn off any ad or pop-up blockers. Leaving this on might incorrectly block event-related content or functionality.
  • Log in with the same email address and password you used to register for AGU23. 

Download and Test Zoom in Advance 

All online, hybrid sessions and events will take place in Zoom. We recommend you download and install the latest version of Zoom in advance and familiarize yourself with it. You can also go to https://zoom.us/test at any time to test your audio and video.
