Freely Communicating Science
For the benefit of humanity and the environment, the scientific community must promote and protect free and open science communication and share scientific insights through communication that is accessible to all.
Safeguarding Data
Achieving accessibility, transparency and reproducibility in research. It is urgent for humanity to address serious and complex global challenges including sustainability, ecology, biodiversity, water and food security, and climate. Trustworthy and reproducible science requires that data be accessible to evaluate and build upon.
Climate Change
Transformative collective actions to limit and adapt to human-caused climate change are urgently needed to protect current and future life on Earth and promote well-being, global equity, and safety. The climate crisis, which has been unequivocally driven by human activities that result in increased emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs), is proving increasingly costly and disruptive for the world.
