The impacts of your gift
Student travel grants are an investment in the future of the Earth and space sciences by helping to defray the costs of presenting for undergraduate and graduate students from around the world, students like Pilar Madrigal, whose travel grant made it possible for her to attend Fall Meeting and propel her career.
Donor support changes lives. Attending an AGU meeting as a student can be a transformational experience that builds confidence, grows perspective, and forges a new network of scientific peers. Financial support from AGU's travel grants increases opportunities for women, underrepresented minorities, and international students to attend Fall Meeting.
Thanks to the support of Jamie Austin and a community of dedicated donors contributing to the next generation of scientists, an endowment was established to help AGU reach its goal of giving every student the opportunity to attend Fall Meeting.
