AGU Leadership: Board of Directors
AGU’s Board of Directors is responsible for the business, organizational, and legal affairs of the organization. The Board is chaired by our president, who along with AGU’s executive director/CEO, president-elect, and Council vice chair serves on both the Board and Council to ensure consistency, continuity and communication throughout AGU leadership.
AGU’s Board meets in-person three times a year, in April, September, and December. In between meetings, the Executive Committee of the Board meets as needed to conduct AGU’s affairs. The Executive Committee is comprised of the president, president-elect, past president, general secretary, international secretary plus the executive director/CEO, who is a nonvoting member.
