Geohazards Advisor, U.S. Geological Survey
I'm a Senior Lecturer in Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol, U.K., where I focus on field-based teaching and am a member of the Volcanology and Petrology research groups. I am currently on sabbatical, working for the U.S. Geological Survey and U.S. Agency for International Development on natural hazards risk reduction. I have previously served on the AGU Board of Directors, the AGU Council, and the advisory board of the Thriving Earth Exchange, AGU's community science partnership.
