My name is Akash Chakraborty from India. Currently I am in my 2nd year of my PhD in Soil and Water Conservation from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. My Bachelors was in Civil Engineering and my Master's Topic was related to simulation of landslide failures. My research area is mostly related to geology, rock slope failures, natural hazards and slope stability. I use 3DEC, UDEC, Plaxis 2D AND 3D for simulation of slope collapse and develop systems for early warning system for rockslides.
