Distinguished Research Oceanographer Emeritus, University of California San Diego
Art Miller is a Distinguished Research Oceanographer Emeritus (equivalent to Distinguished Full Professor Emeritus) and a Senior Lecturer in Climate Sciences at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UCSD). He is also currently Head of the Oceans and Atmosphere Section, which includes the CASPO Division and MPL. He is a physical oceanographer who studies oceanic influences on climate variability and marine ecosystems using a combination of computer simulation models and observational analysis.
