Growing up on a cattle ranch in southern Oklahoma instilled in me a deep appreciation for the land and a passion for the outdoors. Witnessing firsthand the critical role that water plays in sustaining both agriculture and the environment inspired me to delve into water research. Today, my research sits at the intersection of hydrology, computation, and traditional ecological knowledge; exploring ways to incorporate indigenous wisdom into quantitative models.
