Lucy Jones is founder and chief scientist of the Dr. Lucy Jones Center for Science and Society, and a Research Associate at the Seismological Laboratory of Caltech where she furthers resilience to natural hazards through scientific research and collaborations with policy makers. She is the author of The Big Ones: How Natural Disasters Have Shaped Us. In 2021, she created Tempo to bring together scientists and musicians to change the emotional climate about climate change
