AGU is excited to continue to develop and deliver the most influential event for the global Earth and space sciences community.
As we’ll be in-person in New Orleans (or online everywhere), one of our favorite aspects of planning AGU Fall Meeting 2021 is lagniappes (aka a little something extra). We are planning a lot of these surprises to delight you throughout #AGU21, in addition to what you expect when you attend online or in-person.
The registration rates reflect the added costs of supporting both an online and in-person meeting in a safe and secure way, making all content available and accessible to attendees, and supporting reduced rates to expand participation for students and other communities of need worldwide. Thanks to AGU donors and sponsors for additional support, including for travel grants. As outlined in our strategic plan, we have a responsibility to promote and exemplify an inclusive scientific culture and foster participation of all underrepresented groups across all levels of Earth and space sciences.

NOTE: AGU will not be providing free childcare on-site at #AGU21 in New Orleans. Due to COVID, we could not hire licensed and insured providers who would be able to manage our “Camp AGU.” We are hopeful that we will be able to add this back as an option in 2022 when we are in Chicago, IL for in-person attendees. As a reminder, only fully vaccinated people may attend #AGU21 in-person in New Orleans. If you are not fully vaccinated (two weeks after the last required shot), please plan to attend online.Online Registration Rates
